The Story of undefined
A respected well-educated wadaira and coal mine land lord of LILLAH Town, a silent social worker from a najeeb-ut-tarafain Syed family, a graduate of Gordon College Rawalpindi. During the ceremony of his "Dastar bandi" (traditional Makhdoom title) of his ancestral "gaddi" of almost 30 darbars, he suddenly threw the historical dastar/cap on the ground in the presence of about 1000 notable Syed guests and left that house forever. Nobody understood why. What happened? All they understood was perhaps a nervous breakdown secondary to some domestic feud.
Everyone labelled him a rebel against the traditional respected peeri system and considered his mental condition (majzoob or insane) a result of the dishonor he showed to the sanctity of the dastaar and gaddi of Makhdoom Jeehaaniyan Jahaan Gasht (R.A). He was abandoned by his family, friends, and all near and dear ones. He roamed the roads and eventually settled in Heera Mandi of Lahore — the red-light area. Usually silent, he attracted people from that area, the showbiz class, outcasts of society, the "have-nots," or those in deep trouble searching for shortcuts. Hardly anyone was in search of TRUE LOVE, THE HAQ, THE TRUTH, ALLAH! "Wo Allah baant raha tha... wo bhi muft.. magar koi Allah ka gahak hi na tha!"
At that time, he would recommend to anyone who asked for a solution to their problems: listen to a few selected Sufi kalams or watch the dhamaal of one or two selected "kakis" from that area. But at the end, he would also ask them to:

دو پہر تک بک گیا بازار کا ہر اک جهوٹ
اور میں "اک سچ" لئے شام تک بیٹها رها ...!
"Till afternoon, every lie got sold.. And I was there with the truth till the end."
"Now take half a glass of water. See, it's clean. Close your eyes. Feel your Allah in your heart. Clean your heart from any hatred. From the core of your heart, forgive all your adversaries by praying to Allah for them. Then, with utmost LOVE, call thrice in your heart: ALLAH ALLAH ALLAH. Then drink that water in three sips. After that, open your eyes, saying..."
"Baba bhi Allah say maangta hay tum bhhi ALLAH say maango..."
He was doing all this unconditionally and free. People did get their jobs done! But the controversy started. How can music be healing? Why see or do dhamaal? Media people crept in and suddenly a hot scandal broke out: the story of this "fake peer of Heera Mandi" was published, giving him the name PEER KAKI TARR, along with fatwas from ulema/maulanas of that time declaring him a kafir, stating that using music and dhamaal for treatment is haraam and he is a fitna of kufr.
He accepted all this as a gift from society with love. He even started using the name as a writer, later writing many columns in the same press with the same name. "Kaki" or "Kaka" was his usual way of addressing men or women who came to him: "Kaka g ye dua krlo... Kaki g ye suno... iss dhamaal wali kaki ke feet ko dekho... you will be improved." How? That is a separate story. Many of those girls, considered call girls or tawaifs, slowly transformed into healthy, respectable individuals of society. But as he was labelled "Kaki Taarr of Kanjer Shreef," he never claimed piety or respect from this hypocritical society. In his later interviews, he still uses phrases referencing that old media which "awarded" him all this.
"Baba hm nay Pakistan film industry or iss ki nursery main jhharoo phhair di hay... ab aap jaano aur aap ka kaam....."
"Agr main ya ghreeb taangay wala heera mandi main baith kr wahan nachti kaki ko taaray.. tou wo twaaif kanjri aur hm tmash been... aur sirf 2 km k faaslay pr PC hotel k floor pr nwaz shreef shabaz shreef ya zardari reema ka dance daikhain..tou wo sqaafat... aur wo artist aur ye perastaar..? Yeh kya 2-rangi hay?"
His two statements are enough to understand a lot. Many of his strong critics of those times, in that very area, today acknowledge his great effort and very hard job in a difficult area with difficult people.
If you are really interested — which I think you are — then just listen to Surah Al-Rehman as advised at Surah Rahman Therapy Website maybe only once. Just like Hazrat Umar (R.A) listened at his sister's home. What you will feel will be the best to understand. It is a pure and personal thing between you, the living miracle of the QURAN, and its OWNER, ALLAH.
ALLAH ALLAH ALLAH
